Workshops and seminars are designed for the busy entrepreneur! Most classes are held in the evening and condensed into single sessions — just choose the date that works best for you.

Yavapai College continues to be committed to economic and workforce development and is reviewing our current business workshop/training offerings. Our goal is to provide relevant content, course delivery, and subject matter.  With this goal in mind, we would like to get input directly from our community businesses regarding what training options would best meet their needs.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of optimizing a web asset (like a page on your website) with the goal of attracting targeted web traffic. Web page optimization is the practice of identifying keywords to target and then customizing your web page’s content to fit those search terms.

This class will teach you how to SEO any web page. Get step by step instruction on SEO page optimization.

You’ll take away:

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of optimizing a web asset (like your website) with the goal of attracting targeted web traffic. Keywords are search phrases that people type into search engines like Google or Bing. Keyword research is the process of uncovering exactly what people are typing in to search engines. They might be looking for a specific product or service. Or they could be trying to solve a problem.

This class will teach you how to find the keywords that will attract the visitors you want to your website. Get step by step instruction on how to research keywords, how to organize them and finally, how to use them.

You’ll take away:

  • Solid knowledge of how to do keyword research

  • A plan to research keywords for different topics
