Welcome to Yavapai College! We make transferring your credits smooth and straightforward so you can continue your educational journey with us.
Getting Started
- Apply for Admission
Complete your free online application through our admissions portal. - Submit Official Transcripts
Request transcripts from all prior colleges and universities. We accept electronic delivery or mailed copies at:

Transcripts are evaluated within 5-10 days of being received by Yavapai College. You will receive an e-mail when your transcript has been received and when the evaluation has been completed. - Meet with Advisor
We recommend meeting with an advisor to discuss your academic plan. - Complete Orientation
Attend new student orientation to learn about campus resources. - Register for Classes
Work with your advisor to select courses and register.

- Apply for Financial Aid (YC School ID: 001079)
Transfer Credit Policy
Yavapai College accepts transfer credits from regionally accredited institutions. Credits are evaluated on a course-by-course basis to determine equivalency and applicability to your program. If you have completed an associate or bachelor’s degree at another institution, your general education requirements at YC may be waived.
