Community honors the Preforming Arts Center with the top Arts & Entertainment award in the Quad Cities

Prescott, Arizona — The Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center has been voted Best Event Venue in the Arts & Entertainment category of the 2026 Daily Courier Readers' Choice Awards held on July 21, 2026, earning the community's top honor through votes cast by residents across the Quad Cities

Each year, the Daily Courier Readers' Choice Awards recognize the businesses and organizations that make Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and Dewey-Humboldt exceptional places to live, work, and visit. Businesses are first nominated by the public, with the top five in each category advancing to the final voting round. Community members then cast one vote per category to determine the winners in more than 100 categories representing local businesses and services.

“The Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center is a wonderful resource for Yavapai College and the entire community, and I am very proud of the faculty, staff, and students who do an amazing job to bring high-quality productions to Yavapai County,” said Dr. Doug Berry, Yavapai College Administrator on Duty, Provost and Vice President of Student Affairs. “We have an exciting and diverse season of 14 shows this year. This honor reflects the voices of the Quad Cities community and recognizes the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center as the area's favorite venue for live entertainment and community events.
