Share Your Passion. Teach For Us!

spaceWe're always looking for local experts with a passion for teaching. If you've got a fun, useful, informative, or professional topic to share with the community, we want to hear from you. We'll discuss the concept and determine if it makes sense for our programming. Afterward, we'll work out a schedule for you to teach. Yavapai College pays community education instructors $25-$30 per instructional hour.

Our communities really respond to art classes, computer classes, gentle exercise classes, and wellness classes — but we're open to many ideas! Though we're not yet offering face to face instruction during the COVID-19 crisis, we're still taking proposals for such classes.

If you'd like to propose a class, please email a brief introduction and a short synopsis of the class idea to zachary.jernigan@yc.edu.
