Payment Plans

Spread eligible tuition and college charges across scheduled payments. Review the enrollment period, required initial payment and due dates before selecting a plan.

Select the term that applies to you

Standard and veteran payment plans have different requirements. Choose the correct term and plan type before enrolling.

Before enrolling

Payment dates are fixed and cannot be changed. Automatic payment setup is required immediately after establishing a standard payment plan.

Summer 2026 standard payment plan

This plan divides the remaining eligible balance into five scheduled payments.

Initial payment

A $25 refundable down payment is required when the plan is established.

Enrolling after May 15

Enrollment between May 15 and June 10 requires the $25 down payment plus the first installment, equal to 25% of the remaining balance.

The $25 refundable down payment is applied toward the balance if a student does not attend or drops classes after the posted deadline. The student remains responsible for unpaid tuition. Review applicable deadlines on the Academic Calendar .

Veteran Students

Summer 2026 veterans payment plans

Veteran payment plans do not require a down payment or setup fee.

Veteran student responsibility

Students who do not attend or who drop after the posted deadline remain responsible for unpaid tuition. Students are also responsible for bookstore charges added to the payment plan by the plan due date. Review deadlines on the Academic Calendar .

Upcoming term

Fall 2026 standard payment plans

Fall students may select from three voluntary payment schedules. Students with an unpaid balance after September 9 may be placed in an administrative payment plan.

Required initial payment

Fall plans require a $25 non-refundable payment at setup. The source material also refers to this amount as an administrative fee.

Plan 1

Six monthly payments

  • Enrollment period April 13–July 15, 2026
  • Payment dates July 1, August 1, September 1, October 1, November 1 and December 1

Plan 2

Five monthly payments

  • Enrollment period April 13–September 9, 2026
  • Payment dates August 10, September 10, October 10, November 10 and December 10

Plan 3

Eight twice-monthly payments

  • Enrollment period April 13–September 9, 2026
  • Payment dates August 15, August 30, September 15, September 30, October 15, October 30, November 15 and November 30

Plan 4: Administrative enrollment

Automatic enrollment on September 10

  • Who is enrolled Students with an outstanding balance at close of business on September 9, 2026
  • Administrative fee $50 non-refundable fee
  • Payment dates September 15, October 15, November 15 and December 15

Late enrollment in Plans 1–3

Students enrolling after an installment has already become due must pay the past-due installment or installments in addition to the $25 payment.

Outstanding balances

Yavapai College may administratively enroll students in a payment plan after the add/drop period and assess a $50 non-refundable administrative fee.

Students who do not attend or who drop after the posted deadline remain financially responsible for unpaid tuition. Review applicable deadlines on the Academic Calendar.

Enrollment Instructions

How to enroll in a payment plan

Complete all enrollment and automatic-payment steps during the same session.

  1. Go to yc.edu and sign in with your Yavapai College username and password.
  2. Open the Payment Center.
  3. Select View payment plan options or Sign up for a payment plan.
  4. Review the available plan options, choose the plan that fits your needs and complete the enrollment prompts.
  5. Complete the required Auto Pay setup immediately after establishing the plan.

Payment dates cannot be changed

Review the full schedule before completing the agreement.

Important Requirements

Missed payments and account consequences

Late and unsuccessful payments

  • A $25 late fee may be charged for missed payments. Fall 2026 language specifies assessment at the end of a month in which a payment was missed.
  • Missed, failed or returned payments may result in dropped classes.
  • Residence hall students may also face meal-plan suspension or residence-hall eviction.
  • Two or more late payments may result in suspension of eligibility for future payment plans.
  • A missed payment may result in removal from the payment plan under the signed agreement.
  • Administrative plans may incur monthly late fees.

These plans are retained for reference. Their enrollment periods have ended.

Spring 2026 standard plans

All three plans required a $25 refundable down payment at setup and automatic payment enrollment.

Students enrolling after a scheduled installment date were required to pay prior installments in addition to the $25 down payment. The refundable payment was applied to the remaining balance when a student did not attend or dropped after the posted deadline.

Spring 2026 late-start classes

  • Required payment $25 refundable down payment
  • Schedule Three equal payments due March 5, April 5 and May 5
  • Late enrollment Enrollment after March 5 required any past-due installments in addition to the $25 payment

Spring 2026 veterans plans

Both the Veterans Payment Plan and Veteran Chapter 33 Payment Plan required no down payment or setup fee. The total balance was due April 7, 2026.

Fall 2025 late-start classes
