FLAC: Faculty Load and Compensation
FLAC Role & Responsibilities (Green ISS, Blue OIS, Orange Deav/AVP)
- Work with ISS to assign CRNs to faculty members
- Review the Load Report and make adjustments
- Approve and Lock Faculty Load
- Track Faculty Acknowledgements
Full Time Faculty
- 9-Month Full-Time Faculty: 30 load hours per academic year
- 12-Month Full-Time Faculty: 36 load hours per academic year
- Justifications Required:
- More than 21 load hours in Fall/Spring or 12 in Summer
Adjunct Faculty
- Justifications Required:
- More than 12.1 load hours per semester, not to exceed 25.5 per year
- Adjunct Faculty Pay for Academic Year cycle is Summer, Fall, and Spring
