  • HR Reception – provides assistance to all visitors, students, faculty, staff, and retirees.
  • Responds to applicant inquiries.
  • Processes new hire I-9 forms.
  • Maintains personnel files.
  • Supports CHRO and HR Department with calendaring and scheduling, monitoring department financials, preparing departmental correspondence and special projects.

  • Serves as HR Department IT lead and technology expert for HRIS systems and other relevant technology applications or systems.
  • Implements a best in class talent management system to include job analysis and competency modeling, organization design, succession planning, performance management, change management, employee mentoring and training.

  • Leads benefits plan strategies and administration, including review and implementation of new initiatives.
  • Serves the College by supporting and contributing to HR strategy and initiatives.
  • Responsible for the consistent, organized delivery of services provided by human resource business partners to college. employees and departments including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, benefits enrollment, leave administration, employee relations, and compensation.
  • Facilitates provision of HR Services to Academic Affairs.
  • Serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Leads HR staff in serving the Yavapai College community.
  • Responsible for policy development, strategic planning, legal compliance, staffing management, HR forecasting, employee relations, and organization and program development.
  • Leads the Policy Review Committee and President’s Equity Taskforce. Serves as advisor to the Yavapai College Staff Association and YC voting member of the Yavapai Combined Trust and Yavapai Combined Trust Advisory Group.
