What are you doing now?

Residing in NM. Holding a Registered Nurse license here. I am employed by a staffing agency in Illinois and work in the local public school system. My current hobby (after 55-years as a seamstress) is making N-95 respirator-appropriate masks from one-step sterilization wrap H300.

My career has included home care, long-term care, transitional care, hospice, psyche, and private-duty care.

Special memories at YC?

Anatomy and Physiology professor Barry Golden NEVER gave-up on Me. Dr. Paul Evans was SO effective as an instructor in Microbiology. College Algebra teacher Jim Bostwick wrote a Letter of Recommendation that I still use to substantiate employment applications.


Areas of Interest:

My interests include; faith communities, care for the homeless, community health, and pediatric health care. I love to mentor Folks! One nurses' aide I mentored is now a Physician, and another is a pulmonary Nurse.
