THE BARBARA LINDEMANN CLAYBAUGH MEMORIAL FAMILY ENRICHMENT CENTER SCHOLARSHIP
The extended Yavapai College family was saddened by the loss of their friend and colleague, Barbara Claybaugh, in November 2014. Her spirit of goodness and giving nature will be honored with the establishment of an endowed scholarship in her name.

With her lifelong love of children, Barb recognized the tremendous potential in creating an institution with a two-fold purpose: to promote children's learning in a safe and nurturing environment, and to provide a laboratory school environment for college students seeking a career in early childhood development.
The Barbara Lindemann Claybaugh Memorial Family Enrichment Center Scholarship honors her role in helping to make the Del E. Webb Family Enrichment Center a reality. This endowed fund will create a perpetual and sustainable source of funding to help low income student-parents with dependent children achieve their postsecondary education goals.

Since the Yavapai College Foundation opened its doors in 1976, Yavapai College students, faculty members and staff have benefited from the thoughtful generosity of donors who have left a bequest in their wills.
A critical gap exists between the number of scholarships available and the number of YC students who have financial need. YCF is committed to closing this gap, but we need your help.
