Providing a free college-prep program that provides supporting our veterans transitioning to college and a career

We can help with the following:

Build the right skills

  • Enhance your study skills
  • Provide college prep modules & tutoring to build your skills in Math, Writing, Foreign Language, and more

Find and get into the right school and program

  • Do career exploration and skills assessment
  • Use our college prep modules & tutoring to build your skilss in Math, Writing, Computers, and more
  • Apply for admissions to educational institutions
  • Select a college, university, and technical school programs
  • Apply for financial aid assistance (FAFSA), VA education benefits, and scholarships

Support your overall well-being

  • Locate available resources for veterans
  • Learn about managing your money through finanicial literacy
  • Connect with our veterans community

You qualify for VUB Services if:

  • You served at least 181 days of active service.
  • You received an other than a dishonorable discharge.
  • You have not completed a degree.

You also need one of the following:

  • You are a veteran who is a first generation college student (neither parent completed a four year degree)
  • You meet the federal low income standard.

Continuing Students

The Online Benefits Request is available by logging onto the website and selecting My Services / Students / My Financial Aid . Click on the Semester Veterans Benefits Request button. You can also access the online form directly by logging into your myYC portal account here.
